receipt note or a picking list is
used to manually verify which all
items are received / shipped. This
process is a time consuming process

hand held terminals ensures that the
receiving / shipping process is automated
without any manual intervention.
The goods receipt
note can be pre downloaded to a hand
held terminal and the same can be
used to scan all the items being received.
This will ensure that the right items
are received as per the GRN. The user
can immediately know if all the items
are received or any items are pending.
Similarly during the process of issue,
the picking instruction can be downloaded
to a terminal. The user will scan
the items being picked and delivered
and the terminal will immediately
verify whether the correct items are
picked and whether all the items are
picked.
The solution also
comprises of a PC based application,
which can upload the scanned information
and print out receiving and shipping
documents.
